Monday’s Most Motivational Moment!

Monday has to be the most important day of the week to get Motivated, be Inspired and to fill your thoughts with positive plans, purpose and potential. Monday’s are the perfect day to give yourself that one thing that sets you up for a week full of creative thought and expression. Maybe it’s that special coffee that revs you up and get’s you going, or a manicure, massage, meditation or musclular exertion. (yes I mean work out but that doesn’t start with an M) How about an awesome quote from some inspirational people: will that help get you fired up? Whatever your spark, whatever your muse whatever your fuel, Monday is the day to fill your tank. Here are some awesome Quotes that I find fills my tank.

“Being aware of your fear is smart. Overcoming it is the mark of a successful person.” Seth Godin.

I love this quote because it gives you permission to acknowledge fear. We all have it, we all deal with it in some way. However having it doesn’t make us less of a person. So like in AA acknowledging your problem is the first step to overcoming it. How do you overcome it? Sometimes it is something as simple as shining the light on it. From the time we were young, light in some form or other: night lite, closet light, hallway light, “please leave the light on”,undefined we have always counted on light to vanquish our fears.

Here’s a great quote for the situation we currently find ourselves in: “Keep your face always toward the sunshine- and shadows will fall behind you.” Walt Whitman.

Thank you Mr. Whitman. I love to see this quote in the context of the future being the sunshine leaving the past in the shadows. The past doesn’t need our attention, focus or energy. It’s the future that shines the light of potential so keep your face always in that direction. Only allow the past to be something that drives you forward not something that drags you back.

How about this quote: ” The magic in new beginnings is truly the most powerful of all.” Josiyah Martin.

How beautiful is this in the context of today. Not only are we looking at the Spring season and all it’s potential, we are looking at a sort of spring of life, in a sense. With the overcoming of this pandemic and the potential it offers in recycling, reshaping and or reinventing ourselves, our relationships, our communities, country, world etc….. The context of this quote is amazing and so is the future set before us.

One more tank filler for me is: “How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.” Anne Frank.undefined

Wow such wisdom from some one so young and in such dire circumstances, and true now more than ever. We stand at the threshold of a powerful opportunity to see positive impact. I hope we all will step through that threshold with the purpose of improving the world.

In the days ahead don’t let the pettiness, divisiveness, the ugliness of politics (in all it’s forms: politicians, media, special interest groups, community organizations) drag us back to a place where those we chose to lead us, let us down. Due to their greed for money, power and control we were blindsided by this pandemic and the resulting economic and personal tragedies. Even in the light of all this devastation they continue with the pettiness. Let’s take away the power of this negativity. Instead keep your face towards the future, towards the light, embraced by the magic and start to improve the world.

Lifestyle Patriots will be all about improving the world. That’s an impossible undertaking if your focus is too big. So we here at LP are going to narrow our focus to the next decision. One at a time. The next decision of what to buy. The next decision of what company to support with my purchases, investments or my praises. The next decision of where to donate: time, money and or energy. We make thousands of decisions every day, we here at LP would like to help you make those decisions to be informed, inspired, impacting and world improving. Have your most motivated Monday ever and Be Well!
